How do I unpublish or Publish my Facebook Page
The first thing to remember before we start the topic is that-
- Public can see your Facebook page if it’s published.
- Public can not see your Facebook page if it’s unpublished
Only people who manage or has admin access to your page will be able to view your unpublished page. Unpublishing would hide your page from public including the ones who liked or commented on your page. However, if you want to change your page from published to unpublished, as an Admin, here’s what you need to do-
How To: Unpublish Page
According to New Facebook–
- Go to Page Settings in the bottom left of your page
- Click on General and then on Page Visibility
- Click on Page unpublished options
- Click on Save Changes
- Write down a reason for wanting to unpublish your page
- Click on Next and then Unpublish
If you’re using the old or classic version of Facebook, instead of bottom-left, visit the top of your page and click on Settings. The remaining steps will stay the same as mentioned above.
How To: Publish Page
In order to publish your page, follow the same instructions as above but instead of selecting the unpublished option select Page published option.
To Remember
Please note, new pages may get unpublished due to inactivity for a long time.
